The Krui3ers Live in Broome

Who are The Krui3ers and why don`t they know how to spell?  Well like so many things in modern life their name has hidden meaning.

K for Kimberley Rock an infectious style of music pioneered by the band member`s uncles and fathers in the legendary GULINGI NUNGA from Mowanjum, yes that fabulous hard
rocking dance band featuring the Oobagooma brothers Charles, Ashley and Derek plus ``Cat`` Buck. The legacy of such great songs as Time to Think It Over, Wandjina,
Djillumbardie, Sailing and Living In Australia is celebrated by The Krui3ers and their live set features many of Gulingi Nunga`s un forgettable songs, so make sure you wear your dancing
shoes when The Krui3ers are playing.

And why is the 3 in the name, well band members Kallem Mungulu, Derek Oobagooma Jnr, Edmund Jungine and Cassie Bear all grew up in Mowanjum community, 10 kilometres from
Derby WA. There are 3 tribes living at Mowanjum and the 3 is a tribute to the coming together of the Worrora, Ngarinyin and Wunumbal people.

The Krui3ers have been performing since 2018 and have regularly entertained large crowds at The Boab Inn Derby, Boab Festival Mardi Gras, Crossing Inn, Survival Day Concert,
Roebuck Bay Hotel, Divers Tavern and Muddy Water Music Festival. They have recorded two albums at Radio 6 DBY Kenny Prouse Studio. Their first CRUIZIN was
produced by the band and has had great air play on Kimberley radio stations. Their second album REBEL CHILD is near completion it was produced by Nick Albrook from
POND and ex Tame Impala. It features 10 original songs about the heartbreak and joy of living in a small Kimberly Town. REBEL CHILD is scheduled for release in late May 2022.
